Things I Should Probably
Keep To Myself

Also, fun links, new authors, books I like, and probably a good deal of incoherent ramblings.

BLATHER AND BLATHERING: A LOVE STORY

Hey guys. I've been pretty busy here at Camp Murray. It's summer and the kids are home, so I've been writing at night. But I'm also trying to keep up with the blog better, so you may see little tweaks if you come here often (hubba hubba).

I've been writing Blood Day, and even though I just started, I think this is going to be my best book ever. It's really exciting to write something where the characters just jump out fully-formed, and the plot just slithers out in front of me like a creepy yellow brick road. I was trying to hold off writing it as we are going on vacation in late July, but I just couldn't hold it in any longer. Blood Day decided it was going to be written and there was no two ways about it.

I haven't really decided yet, but I may attempt to get this published traditionally. I love being indie, but it's fun to try new things and see what's out there. I'll let you know what I decide. The difference for you is that if I choose to send it out, Blood Day won't be available for purchase right away.

I've been a guest at quite a few online release parties lately, so if you haven't been to one of these, I recommend it. It's a good way to find new stuff to read and win prizes. And I might be lurking around and we can chat.

I'm going to be at World Fantasy Con in Washington DC in November, so if you're going I'd love to meet you. I'll sign anything you have or I'll let you buy me a drink (twist my arm). Should be good fun and I get to meet one of my favorite people in person, instead of just chatting online. Yay!

I might be doing some promotion soon so you may start seeing my goofy mug popping up in all sorts of weird places.

Yeah. That's the mug I'm talking about.
That's about it. If you're a writer or a blogger, feel free to contact me. I'll print just about anything. Off to write about evil vampires with weird agendas now.

There will also be pie.
