I was going to wait another month to show you guys this, but I need some fun today. After Eat the Ones You Love I will be embarking on a new urban fantasy series, tentatively titled Blood of Cain. The first installment will be entitled Monstrous and GOOD LORD am I excited about it. I've been itching to get back into urban fantasy and this one is going to be dark, dark, dark. Just the way I like it. It will probably be released late fall or so. I'll have more info on that later.

For better or worse, I'm nearing the end of Eat the Ones You Love. I can never tell if something is any good until about the third revision, so I'll let my beta readers decide later. The important thing is to finish the damn thing and I'm doing that. I've actually found the fun in writing again. After my last project didn't work out, I sort of felt like I lost my mojo for a long time. But there's something about zombies and postapocalyptic punks that brought me back.

I'll be pretty quiet on the blog and on facebook until I finish, so tuning into radio silence now. But when I return, I'll have a cover reveal for my next project:  An urban fantasy series, the first of which will be called Monstrous. So stay tuned. I've got my mojo back and I'm writing like crazy. And having a grand old time.
